Chef Kulum's Fruit Coulis

Makes about 3 Cups of Sauce
A delicious berry topping for pancakes, waffles, ice cream, or pavlova.

  • 4 cups (700g) mixed frozen berries
  • ¾ cup (150g) sugar
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) lemon juice
  • ⅛ cup (30 ml) water


Add fruit, sugar, lemon juice, and water to a large saucepan.  Bring to a boil and simmer on low for 20-30 minutes until most of the liquid is evaporated.  Remove from heat and softly mash the fruit.  

Serve warm or at room temperature.  

May be refrigerated for 3-5 days.
